About me

I’m a registered dietitian with expertise working with clients from adolescence through adulthood for preventative health and wellness, as well as management of chronic disease. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings addressing elevated cholesterol, hypertension, pre-diabetes, underweight, overweight, fatty liver, intake impacted by anxiety/depression and GERD. From a wellness perspective, I have counseled clients during pregnancy to manage appetite/support healthy weight gain, and during the postpartum period for maintenance of adequate nutrition to support breastfeeding.

My Philosophy

I firmly believe that nutrition should be tangible and easy. You have to eat everyday for the rest of your life - if there are 200 steps, worries or questions every time you eat - there is no fun in food! My goal is to empower clients to feel confident in listening to their bodies and making “healthy” choices that fit their needs. I work closely with clients to redefine what “healthy” means for each of us individually (*with an understanding that “healthy” should not mean excluding culturally important foods).
